Sustainable Success Nudge From Your Future Self

💬 "The version of you you're becoming already knows."

Sometimes your deepest knowing arrives long before your mind is ready to agree with it.

Hi Melinda,

One of the hardest decisions I've ever made was selling my company, The Coaches Console.

The interesting part is...it wasn't a business decision first.

It was an inner one.

The business was still successful. It was still profitable.

From the outside, there was every reason to keep going.

My head had plenty of evidence to stay.

But my heart kept quietly telling me something different.

My work here is complete.

A part of me didn't want that to be true.

For nearly eighteen months, I hired consultants, explored new strategies, and searched for ways to reignite growth.

I kept thinking there had to be a way to keep making it work.

Until one day, I realized something.

Once I finally stopped arguing with myself...

I became clear.

Clear about what I needed to do next.

And once I made peace with that decision, something “unexpected” happened.

The future buyer of The Coaches Console showed up in my inbox.

An email I never could have planned.

I don't think clarity guarantees outcomes.

But I do think clarity changes us.

It changes how we see.

How we decide.

How we show up.

And our outer world begins responding to the shifts we've already made in our inner world.

That's why I've been thinking about something lately.

There comes a moment when gathering more or pursuing more isn't what we need.

We simply need to trust what we've already heard.

The version of you that you're becoming already knows.

So here's something I'd love for you to notice this week.

Where in your life are you waiting for more evidence...

when what you really need is more trust?

Maybe your heart has been trying to tell your brain something for quite some time.

Maybe it isn't asking you to have the entire path mapped out.

Maybe it's simply inviting you to take the next faithful step.

With presence,

Melinda
